My Jensen AWM965 did the exact same thing. It was still under warranty, called the dealer and they just ordered a replacement. Jensen wouldn't let me install it so I did'have to take it in for replacement. The replacement worked fine for 2 years -- sold that trailer so I am not sure what the status is now.
The new trailer also has the same AWM965...it is working as expected. I agree the Jensen's are junk, but 90% when we are camping the kids aren't allowed to watch TV/Movies it is reserverd for rainy days, so upgrading isn't part of the plan for us.
