I don't think it's about the shaking. My truck has endured a lot of bumps and shakes and the Pioneer in there is still good. I think this is thread #three or #four in the last couple weeks about Jensen failures. The units are just that bad. Maybe it has a fragile laser assembly or maybe it's not durable at low voltages.
Jensen, which used to make the finest cone speakers now has a reputation as having the least quality for electronics.
