I have a PWM in my TC also , it was a cost thing when I put it in ,figured to change it later .In my 5th I`m using a MPPT . Its a larger more costly system , only wanted to fool with it once
But as an example of PWM charger waste a 100 watt panel with 18.9 volts , 5.29 amps - 18.9 x 5.9 = 99.981 watts , the PWM will only convert the watts that the camper battery's volts are which is about 14.4 max , so 4.5 volts waste , 14.4 volts x 5.29 amps =76.176 watts , that's all your going to get out of a 100 watt panel with a PWM charge controller , a MPPT will convert all the power and boost that power slightly to give you the full 100 watts
Cheaper is not effective ,plan thing out , be sure you can change later if you think you want all the power
