Jump starting the truck and charging T/C
I am going to make a custom length set of jumper cables to pack with us that we could jump the truck from the RV bank (did this once having to remove the batteries from the camper) which got me wonder...

Many do better than that -- here's mine .
2 gauge wire, and it works both ways -- heavy duty camper battery charge, allows the camper batteries to help start truck (if ever needed), and disconnects truck from camper when truck not running or starting.
It other words, a correct charge setup.
