Just bought first camper - lot of questions - can you help?

I would do 2 batteries and get a decent solar panel and charge controller. then you could run just about anything you wanted and it will charge during the day. and with an inverter you could have 120V for small appliances. a solar panel is cheaper and easier to maintain too!
