Just bought Truck Camper- how do I move
I bought a 2005 Arctic Fox and need to transport from Jax to Tallahassee. Have 2008 F450 but tie downs haven't arrived yet. How do you transport temporarily if you don't have real tie downs like Torkl...

We were talking temporary, like just to get it home,but I'll bite...
Ratchet straps with the little spring that Torklift sells,would work great..You would get the 300 pounds of tension and quick release straps..lol...The only problem straps would have permanently,would be the suns effect on the straps.
I wouldn't hesitate to use ratchet straps for tie downs temporarily or even semi long term...After all,most truck campers have been anchored with ratchet straps before ever seeing Torklift or Happijac's on there journey to the dealer near you ..lol
