Just ordered a 2013 F150!
Well I finally decided and bit the bullet, ordering a 2013 F150 with the 3.5 EcoBoost engine, and the 3.55 diff. I got a 4x2 SuperCab and ordered it with the Tow Package, Tow Mirrors and Trailer Brake...

They are likely building both of them. My 2012 was built in Sept. 2012, when they were already building 2013s. I saved a few grand plus I didn't get the bugs of the new electronic dash. I bought my truck in Nov. 2012.

I'm all excited, I get my new Torque Converter when it comes in! I haven't had the greatest luck with their transmissions. 2010 F150 was a problem truck so I got this 2012 to replace it at a very good price thanks to my dealer.
Guess my torque converter went bad only a few months after I had it but they said the whining noise was normal. After hearing a 2013 without it, I took it back and am getting a new torque converter. So if you hear what sounds like a bad power steering pump whine, take it in. These trucks have electric power steering.
Other than the coverter whining noise, I love my F150 with the 5.0L . This truck will leave a patch so easy, I have to feather the pedal. :D The truck pulls my camper so effortlessly, I'm just amazed by the torque and for that matter, the horsepower.
I went with a heavier truck with 4WD and a Crew Cab for the family. It still has a great 1582 lbs of payload and it's nearly fully loaded. Has everything the 302A package has but the camera. Didn't want to be straining to see the little pic in the rear view mirror. :)
