So I found some spec's for a 2012 Expedition
GVWR: 7,300 or 7,500
FAWR: 3700
RAWR: 4250
So unless there was an error in the trailer/RAW measurement (I am assuming there is based on those numbers) you are well above on the rear axle. This also puts you over on the GVWR.
Yea, something isn't right, the only way to achieve the numbers posted is to put a pallat of bricks in the back of the Expy and be towing a small utility trailer or ski-doo !! That is why I am curious if OPs trailer is a spread axle type with independant suspension, it is possible the front trailer axle just made it onto the same pad as the rear expy axle while the rear trailer axle was on the trailer pad.
Oh where are my manners!! Welcome to the community!! We love to share our love of all things RV, our experiences, joys and troubles. The wealth of knowledge here is staggering! Sometimes we can be a bit cranky, but our hearts are in the right place. We are glad to have you!
Edit: I found your previous posts regarding your purchase of a Prime Time Tracer 240AIR. It is a perfect fit for your Expedition and will keep you under all the ratings. It's obvious the individual axle readings are messed up, but the Gross number sounds right. Enjoy your RV!
