When clean it is not used, it is just as clean as the very first time it was put in!
I go to the sand dunes and run around those with the X. When i get home and check out the filter there is always a bunch of sand collected on the filter. But there is never any thing in the intake tube, not even dust. So i don't know where everyone is getting there "facts" from, but i'm giving 100% accurate info. So what i can only come up with is that everyone is jealous of those of is that use them and are giving thier reasons for not being as smart as the rest of us! Sorry, but unless you use one extensively don't bother to give your opinion!
I din't know if it gives any extra HP or not, but i know i haven't bought a filter in 50k miles!
