I learned my something new for the day. I hadn't noticed the key hole on the door handle of my Ford before reading your post. - STBRetiredExplorerFord supplies a key inside each fob and there is a cap on the driver's side door handle that you can pop off to unlock the door. Not sure what GM, FCA or the imports do, but I would surely believe they have a similar arraignment. My towed has a charge line that goes to the MH so I could charge the battery through that. Not heavy enough to jump start, but more than adequate to power the electric locks.
- 4x4ordExplorer IIIAre you meaning if the remote battery is dead? The Ford has a keypad and GM has OnStar. Ram .... I guess you use a coat hanger. If the vehicle battery is stone dead I don't know what you'd do .... either smash the windshield or find a car thief with a Slim Jim.
