Keystone Bullet 281BH
After 8 seasons in the KZ Jag 24, we decided that we needed a little more room to spread out in the camper. Last weekend with my wife, I and our two grown daughters, it was a little cramped, especially since the weather was inclement and we spend a lot of time inside.
So next week we go pick up our new 28', which has a slide out. Despite the length, the aluminum frame allows the weight to be reasonable and within the capacity of my Chevy Avalanche.
This new trailer is an upgrade in so many aspects:
1) Slide out makes the interior so much bigger.
2) Double bed bunks that are easily accessible even by adults
3) A couch to sit in while watching TV and/or reading
4) A second entrance door directly to the bathroom
5) Protected underbelly so we can camp deeper into the colder months
6) An electric awning
7) Floor ducts and a thermostat for the AC/heating
8) Electric water heater and/or electric start when using propane
9) Bigger tanks all around
10) Outdoor stereo speakers
So I guess I have to change my signature now.....
