After 8 seasons in the KZ Jag 24, we decided that we needed a little more room to spread out in the camper. Last weekend with my wife, I and our two grown daughters, it was a little cramped, especially since the weather was inclement and we spend a lot of time inside.So next week we go pick up our new 28', which has a slide out. Despite the length, the aluminum frame allows the weight to be reasonable and within the capacity of my Chevy Avalanche.This new trailer is an upgrade in so many aspects:1) Slide out makes the interior so much bigger.2) Double bed bunks that are easily accessible even by adults3) A couch to sit in while watching TV and/or reading4) A second entrance door directly to the bathroom5) Protected underbelly so we can camp deeper into the colder months6) An electric awning7) Floor ducts and a thermostat for the AC/heating8) Electric water heater and/or electric start when using propane9) Bigger tanks all around10) Outdoor stereo speakersSo I guess I have to change my signature now.....

Yes that is one sweet TT we have a smaller's key stone passport you'll really love the windows as they darken the outside and don't allow anybody to see in. enjoy your new camper.

It took us a long time to pull the trigger on this one. We thought both our daughters would not want to camp with us anymore (they are 22 and 19), so the 24' trailer would be sufficient for the two of us. But they seem to want to come all the time nowadays, so we figured why not make it a little more comfy for us. And who knows, maybe we'll eventually have grandkids to take camping as well.

A smaller Keystone Bullet was one of the options we looked at. There wasn't one in our area for sale so we went a different route. However, I was very impressed with the Bullet. Congrats!

Very nice Doug! We took about 12 months of looking at every possible make, mfg, and layout out there is before putting a list together to go look at. We took our time and spent time in each unit we liked going through possible scenario's with the layout.. We decided on the Premier 31 bhps.. Our first trip is this weekend! Good luck with yours!

Congrats on your 281BHS. We had a steep learning curve, too, in the beginning. We had our Bullet out over 150 days in three summers. Camp in your driveway a night or two - you'll get more familiar with everything with time.

We picked up our Keystone Bullet 281 BHS in March. We have had it out for one four night trip. So far we are very pleased with our purchase. This is an upgrade from tent camping so the learning curve has been steep.

We had a 2011 Keystone Bullet 250RKS for the last three summers and never had a warranty issue. Friends of ours just bought the same one you did. Keystone makes a good product.

I highly recommend Bal-X-chocks for the Bullet. Our biggest complaint was the bounce and wiggle in the floor, even with all four corner stabilizers down and tight. Our Dalmatian paces when he wants out (2am) or he's hungry (4am), and it drove us crazy. The X-chocks improved the situation a lot.

Enjoy! It's great that your older kids want to go with you. You'll have many happy family memories.

You'll love the Bullet, we've got the same floor plan and really like it . We've found it to be a very well built trailer and the second door was something we would not go without again. Congrats!

I just installed our Fantastic Fan vent cover last weekend. Looking forward to leaving my front windows cracked and the bathroom vent always open with my fan's thermostat set to come on when it gets hot inside while parked in the driveway. The combination of the fan and cover make for our best mod yet. Next up on the list is the lift-kit for the front queen bed that just came via Amazon.com.

These would be the top two items we'd tell Keystone to include right from the factory--a Fantastic Fan instead of the small push-button fan and a lift-kit for the queen bed to access the storage.
