Congrats! Even if the weather isn't favorable for the first trip, it might give you an opportunity to get to know "ins and outs" of the new trailer.
Part of the reason why ours is taking so long to arrive is the difficulty in finding drivers to bring one up this way (according to our dealership). Apparently, we're now at the top of the list.
Did you notice any difference from the wide-stance axles compared to your old TT?
