Remove the two screws then turn the tv around and it will lift straight up. I installed one set of a/v cables to the upper opening then one in and one out a/v cable to the bottom. I picked up a set of a/v inline adapters from radio shack which allows you to plug other a/v cables in without removing all that stuff each time. Worked really well.

I was wondering that as well, I tried pulling up, pulling bottom out first and everything else....besides taking the back off.
