I plan on using two CombiCams on the kitchen, one on each side and re-using one of the non-locking cams in the center with the lift pull. Be careful using WD in the locks, it can really get gummed up if dust gets in there and if yours are like ours, the little dust covers inside the lock are not very effective. Hardware stores sell powdered graphite in the key section and that works great.
You SHOULD be able to pull you key out of the kitchen lock with it unlocked. On a sidenote, one of the things that led me to replacing the storage/kitchen locks with the CombiCams was the fact that the front human door key would unlock the kitchen lock. It would not lock it, but it would unlock like it was made to do that.
