I just discovered something new about the Premier today regarding the slide-out mechanism. I decided to take a look to see what was above the slide-out and wasn't expecting to see what I saw. Watching the Keystone videos about manually operating the slide-outs, I assumed I had Lippert Components but I was wrong.
I posted a picture of what I saw in another thread (
Slide-out Mechanism Above the Slide?) and fordsooperdooty pointed out that it was a completely different system made by BAL called the Accu-Slide. There's a link to information about the system and the service manual, too.
The manual shows that it is very easy to operate the slide-outs manually. However, it also says that you need to use the flexible shaft that is included in the owner's packet.
Did any of you get the owner's packet with the flexible shaft in it? I didn't.
I've emailed my dealer to see if they know anything about it.
