There was a 12x12 patch with 4 screws that I had to remove and then make a cut into the belly itself. Saw the motor and cranked it a few times on the bolt which gave it enough release room and have had zero problems since.
Don't you wonder why the manufacturers don't mount the switches high so a kid can't reach them? There are many places they could go...
