As with all new things we tend to want to make it our own. Like making storage changes for the closets, cabinets and such. My interest is in the 28RLPR Pantry area in the kitchen. Any hints on what makes better arranging of these deep cabinets. Is there a specific type of drawer you've installed or basket? What brand item did you find that works? I'm afraid things will get lost in the back when I can't reach in the back of those deep places.
What we did for the pantry area was use a rectangular plastic tub (with low sides) and put everything inside. It's as wide as the opening, but not as deep. It allows us to slide out the tub--kind of like a drawer so that we can get reach the items all the way in the back. It's really helpful for the higher shelves and also keeps little things from rolling around and falling out during transport.
For those you camping out in less than ideal weather, I discovered that the power awning is great in rain and wind:
- In the rain, the awning will automatically dump the water. I witnessed it myself when a sudden thunder shower came before I had a chance to tilt the awning. Most of the time however, I like to manually tilt the awning to the rear so that it doesn't dump water in front of the door unexpectedly.
- Strong winds will make the awning rattle and make noise, but will not cause damage because the awning will lift and the arms will bend to release the billowing wind and pressure. The awning will then drop back down. Our regular camping spot has pretty strong winds during the day and I was able to watch what happened when the wind kicked up. Of course, I'm not talking about tornados or major storm conditions--which I have yet to experience--thank goodness, LOL!
