Another heads-up for everyone:
Last weekend, just by chance I noticed that one of the screws that holds the bunk support to the wall had been stripped out of the wall. I think the cause is from either the wall or the support flexing and separating from each other creating about a 0.5 cm gap. They don't sit flush with each other any more. The existing screw is a #8 - 2 1/2" wood screw. I don't when it happened, but we have put over 6000 miles on our Premier so far.
I really don't want to pull the trailer back to the dealer for the warranty work so my idea for a fix is rather than trying to make a new hole for another mounting point, I would use a #10 or #12 wood screw in its place and add spacers to fill the gap between the wall and the support. I figure that should give it a solid hold in the original mounting point.
