when i was searching for ours i looked at a lot of adds on line and noticed some units had black stoves and some had stainless. when i went to pick mine up that was the first thing i looked for. ours had both frig and stove with stainless. so i guess we got lucky.
The nose cone is fiberglass, I think...
I bet you could have the cone only, painted for a nominal cost at a commercial paint shop...
If I really loved that, I would find someone who needed some work, but had painting equipment, to paint it at my place....and there are plenty of such people who are either out of a job, or would like a weekend job.
or, I would consider, at least, painting it myself.....there are do-it-yourself painting tips available on the web..and most of us can do a creditable job.
