As a passionate cyclist who owns some pricey bikes I spent a lot of time looking at racks and options for carrying bikes. In the end I decided that a rear bumper rack was just not for me. I have seen many people who are lots handier than me make there own frame bracing mods and welding in a receiver hitch below the rear bumper that I would trust but I would hate to pay a welding shop to do all of this work and I have to assume that any frame welding will kill any frame warranty we may have.
So....... My first choice was a rack that mounts to the trailer tongue and goes above the propane tanks. Pricey again but below is a link.
Tongue mount rack linkAnother option is a rack mounted on a receiver at the front of the truck. Many people like that option but many others say that it interferes with headlights and that it can effect the handling of the truck.
