Excuse my previous post, I tried to comment on this from the iPad this morning and my comments didn't come through. I noticed the same thing on the outside TV as NetAndDavid and plan to use some rubber weather stripping you typically use for storm doors around both sides of the rotating TV housing. That should hopefully create a nice seal against bugs/spiders and any weather from the outside to the inside.
