My question is whether or not the quick-connect fitting would provide as good a weather-proof connection as the traditional propane Acme nut does. If not, it could probably be protected if needed. Being located near the wheel area, would the exposed hose get any additional wear and tear from the elements?
The other issue is drilling a hole straight up from underneath the RV to under the sink counter. I'm sure you could seal it so that no moisture enters that way, but I generally don't like to drill holes. There may be more material to drill through there than anticipated.
