Just catching up with some earlier questions :B...
1. At first I didn't really want a programmable thermostat, but that was the only one the store had when I bought it. So when it's hot I do run the AC 24/7 (except as noted before when it's really hot and we need to use the microwave). Anyway, even though our AC runs 24/7 we have separate morning, day, and evening settings because during the day we may not be in the trailer and at night it doesn't need to be as cool.
2. While I haven't done pancakes outside, we have done other things like stir fry vegetables, hot dogs and sausages, and Jiffy Pop popcorn. I find that the stove gets hot enough but it's slower to heat up to temperature depending on how windy it is outside.
Our setup procedure...
1. Level RV/Chock wheels/Open outside kitchen (where levelers are stored)
3. Connect power (on a 2-minute delay with surge protector)
4. Lower stabilizer jacks/connect water/unlock bathroom door
5. Lay out doormat at bottom of front steps
5. Bring out slides/extend awning
6. Turn on fridge (if not on already)
7. Run water taps to eliminate air
8. Turn on hot water
9. Unstrap outside fridge and remove door spacer
10. Put up patio lights.
There's not much really to setup inside except open the shades, since we already have everything packed where we want it.
