It's all about getting the maximum enjoyment out of your trailer. After we had a wonderful time on our cross-country road trip with the Premier, my wife and I returned to our favorite campsite to close out the summer. We discovered that they were offering seasonal sites and decided to purchase one. It's been awesome because it makes it so much easier to just hop into the car on a Friday afternoon and take off for a weekend get-a-way. We were able to use the trailer much later into the winter (into November) and start much earlier (in February). Now, we're able to go almost every second weekend.
Another advantage of going so often is that the weekends truly become very relaxing because there are fewer things that need to get done each time we go. We get to our site, put out the slides, unpack our clothes, and then I scratch my head because there's nothing for me to do. I'm still getting use to it. All that's really left is to build a fire and crack open a cold one :B
We bought a Thousand Trails membership so we do have the option of using other campgrounds, but we really like our "home base" that we really don't have a desire to try other places right now. We are planning a trip down the Oregon coast this summer, though, and that should be fun.
garysol, it looks like the seasonal site you have is beautiful. I hope you enjoy yours as much as we enjoy ours :C.
