I'm assuming the little bracket on the bottom back of the fridge is what is keeping it in place...what exactly is that? I like that much more than the two straps that I have to hold it in place.
I bought those at our Local Walmart. I would imagine Walmarts in the US would carry the same or something similar. Look for those in the baby section
Our 2011 model did not have a strap that came with it. Just those brackets at the back to hold the fridge in place, but nothing to prevent the door to open...
