The amp is for over-the-air signals. When you have cable, just push the button off and it won't interfere with the picture.

I'm wondering about that, too. I had them on my old trailer and they worked great, but have resisted purchasing the extended ones for the Premier. I have the same bounce as described above, but it hasn't been enough to bother me (yet).
We got back from our trip yesterday and had a great time. The campground was the busiest we've ever seen it with all RV, tent, and overflow sites used. It was probably because of the perfect combination of Canada Day (Friday) and Independence Day (Monday). It was a big difference from earlier in the year when there were sometimes only a handful of RVs in the entire campground. What was really neat was that even after a year, the outdoor kitchen still attracted a lot of attention. It was a real conversation starter for anyone who walked by :C.
