Correct. We had no sewer. So, prior to leaving the site, I filled the black tank up as much as I could (verify). Then I went to dump. Considering this was my first time, I dumped like normal, grey then black. I don't recall whether I left the black tank valve open or not, or even tried both to be honest. However, the hose that I was using to fill the tank had no connector - just the rubber portion of the hose. So, I placed it up against the inlet valve to see if water could at least get to the tank. Didn't see anything come out of the tank so it got me to wondering. I might try to hook up the flush tonight to a extra hose to see if I can get water in the tank. I'll be taking it to my permanent site over the next couple of weeks, so it'll be ok for a bit.
