So month two of our temp full timing down and no real issues to report. The only thing that I do have a question on is:
When I go to dump my black tank (I keep it closed so that the methane gas smell stays out) there is an overwhelming stench the comes from the area of my dump valve. It stays around for about an hour or so, then goes away. I have checked my dump hose for leaks, all around the valve, under the camper and I don't see any leaks anywhere. What could be causing this odor? I use sani-tabs in my tank and leave my gray valve open all the time. Any suggestions would help.
