With the temps at night dropping into the low 40s to mid 30s all that we have used is a 1500w portable heater that I got in Korea to use in the field (I firmly believe that it has saved my life on more than one night). We set it up in the kitchen and it keeps the whole trailer warm. All that I do is set the thermostat on the portable to about half way and let it ride. We have yet to use the built in heater this winter. Just as a reminder for anyone doing some winter camping, dont forget to turn your digital therostat to auto so that the A/C doesnt run as the heater runs.
On a seperate note, does anyone else use a satalite dish? We went with dish network simply because I can control 2 of the 3 tvs with one box. I just piggybacked off of the kids tv for my bedroom tv that I added. So if my son is playing XBox in the back, my wife can watch tv in the living room, and I can watch tv in the bedroom. I'll post pictures of everything that I have done and get them posted as soon as I can.
