You have us a little concerned lol. I've hand washed it and used a microfiber dust towel on the back window many times. I take pictures out the back of the wildlife around, the window is like a one way mirror for that. So we clean it often! We've never felt any movement from its glass thickness or how it's installed.
If you feel it's unacceptable then maybe talk to your dealer. Ours is the 2011 model but of course their supplier for windows could have changed? Keep us informed on what you find out.
