3. the recliner chairs rock WAY to far back so I cut a 3" block spacer for each chair.
There were two floor plans we looked at with these rocker/recliner type chairs at the back window. They each had slide outs but one only went out 18" compared to the 28RLPR which is 36". Now if you were sitting in that recliner and pulled it forward for a tad more space you'd be running into the couch! The person sitting on the couch would have no leg room at the end where the chair is. I wonder how many people find this out AFTER they purchase that model. These rocker/recliners work best if pulled forward a few inches so you don't lean back into the screen or rear window shade.
Now explain what this 3" block is and how you use it?
I simply cut a couple of 2x4's six inchs and added a flat 1x4" on the flat side and stick them under the back of the chair and the floor. This way the chairs don't go back into the "dentist chair" position LOL! I hope it will also help keep the rear corner of the chair out of the side window screens as I already had to pull the screen tight and re-bead it.
