As a 30+yr appliance tech, I hate what fabric softener does to the inside of washers pumps, hoses, etc. I have needed to reduce suds in a dishwasher when someone had used regular detergent, and the answer was salt. I personally would not add fabric softener to my grey tank, but I do use a "water softener" in my black tank. Toss about a half cup of table salt into the kitchen sink and same in the shower before dumping and see if this helps. Just an idea. david
