Thor and Forest River now own most of the TT brands. Five or six years ago when the RV market was very depresses and they were able to purchase, merge and streamline, many of the companies that were going broke. If you pull up their web sites you can see all the brands each company now owns.
There are still a few independent companies that rode out lean times but many did not.
Now the RV industry had rebounded and they can sell all they can make. What this means for price and quality is yet to be seen. :@
We do know that the TT market is extremely cost competitive and the majority of the consumers seem happy with the present situation. So, there is not much incentive for the manufactures to invest time and materials into a really high end product.
Add to this the increased demands on tow vehicle, performance, safety and gas mileage and I do not see any drastic change in the RV market in the short term.
