I have hauled my 1998 Lance 990 Legend 11' 3" extended cab that was close to 4000 lbs. wet with 2006 2500 Quad cab CTD with no problems with a round trip from Dallas to Daytona beach and back with extra leaf spring in rear pack, air lift airbags, Bilstein shocks and stock forged aluminum wheels and Nitto 285/75r/17s high load index 3970 lbs. at 80 PSI. Since then though I decided to upgrade to the Vision 19.5 wheels and 19.5 16 ply tires and it was much better handling. Upgrade wheels and tires if you can to 19.5s.
