I have a 1575 and can really give you the truth
1) First windows are nopt polycarbonate but acrylic who can stand weather a lot better . Yes you can scratch them but after 2 fulls years, I have not . Just wash them gently. Also you can open them almost 90 o and get a lot of ventilation
2) The dinette step-up , yes that there but it's a big advantage because give you storage space under and because its over the tire , they were able to put a U shape dinette that is big , bigger that many A class RV
3) Light, no other trailing offer that much light because of all windows plus the 2 skylight.
4) The blind are one of the best feature of the 1575, total black out when close and full screen when open plus the option to have no screen for perfect outside view.
5)Front cargo area under bed , it' so big , I put my 2 bicycle in it plus my inflatable kayak and still have place for my BBQ.
6) Real full queen bed not a RV size queen bed.
7) Easy to tow, I do it with my Ford Explorer and work very well.
8) Good tire Towmax, most owner dont have any problems with them and this is confirm by owner on the LOA forum (Not own by Lance)
Not what are the compromise you need to understan
1) You cannot go around the bed, if you need to wake up at night , could be some issue
2)Bathroom is small but friendly.
3)Little counter space but U shape dinette table is huge.
For us, we tour all the small TT and none reaaly none offer what Lance was offering including quality of materials and space use.
Just to be fair, Lance is growing rapidly now and some have have issue on quality but most are resolve easly by the dealer and Lance.
