I remember reading about you thread mountiankowboy. I learned a lot from it. I have learned a lot from everyone here who has undertaken these projects.
I have been working on rebuilding the floor this past week. since we decided to start from scratch on it and I want to get it right the first time it has been slow going. I started on it Friday night and have worked on it each night after work. I'm hoping to have all the wood cut and fit together by tomorrow night so I can get all the joints glued and get it ready to attach the plywood and insulation. I have to say having the blue prints from Lance have helped a lot. Even though I am beefing up the floor frame some, upgrading most of the 1x2 to 2x2, it is nice to have the original measurements and layout of the wood. I will try and get some pictures of the progress on the floor, though it isn’t nearly as exciting as the tear down
Reminds me of why I paid more for a newer Lance with aluminum construction. ") If I didn't think I would keep mine forever I would have gone used, but even with new there is a lot of upgrading and customization. Once I get her up to snuff, I'm DONE. :) Any worries about your rebuild coming out heavier than original?
