Lance 915?

Wish I could just go look at one nearby, but closest one is about 500 miles away.

In the 915, under the dinette there is a short platform. Since the dinette cushion height should be the same as my 815, the platform doesn't make since.

Is it just a little extra storage?

Could it be removed?

Do you find sitting on the short side is odd because one foot is up on the platform and the other down on the floor?
  • Bob, thanks. The 845 is about the same so believe it is true across the board.

    Freelance,

Same year, it is actually only 675 pounds which gives several advantages:
    1) Dual propane tanks
    2) ~20% larger holding tanks
    3) Almost twice the water
    4) Shower doesn't drain into black tank
    5) A wet bath that is much larger
    6) North-South bed (for our non-extended 815)
    7) Four more inches of head clearance especially in the cab-over.
    8) 60% larger refrigerator
    9) Pantry
    10) Second drawer under wardrobe

Other things that I will gain when I "upgrade" is electric jacks and an oven.

Except for the bath size, we have been extremely happy with the 815. If it wasn't for the fact we want electric jacks, oven, and larger bath, we would love to stay with the 815. The 915 is as close as we can stay to the 815 yet get what we want.
  • What is to be gained other than the extra 800 lbs? I see those little cabs in the overhead. I actually added one of those in my 815.
  • Eric, the platform I think you are referring to looks like the one is the pics here . The table pedestal mounts to it .

If so , its the same as I have in my 845. The lid has screws to hold it in place. I removed them and found an empty space that I now use for storage. The entire box is vacant, its good to store extra long tin foil and plastic wrap etc .
