Hello there, everyone!Earlier this month I purchased my first truck camper; a 2008 Lance 835. So far, I'm absolutely in love with it. However, on our first trip last weekend we found out that the bathroom faucet has a bit of an issue. Because it has a wet bath, the shower hose connects to the tap. The issue is that there's no other spout on the tap! If you unscrew the shower hose to use the sink faucet, it sprays straight outward instead of going into the sink. Of course there is the kitchen sink, but I would like to be able to use the bathroom sink for things such as brushing my teeth and washing my face. The easiest fix would be finding a spout that will screw on to the existing faucet to control the direction of the water but my searches for such a thing have come up pretty empty. The next option would be to install a new faucet. I hAve a 2008 Lance 981. My faucet has 2 outlets, a standard faucet opening and one similar to yours. Theres a diverter to use the shower one. Im sure you can get the faucet with 2 openings from Lance direct, if you cant find one elsewhere. I got a replacement outside shower from Lance 2 years ago, cost was reasonable.

The intent of the original design was to use the shower head as the sink faucet as well. There should be a place to hang the shower head such that it directs its flow into the sink for that purpose.What's important for installing an aftermarket faucet is the spacing between the two stems. AFAIK most of them are the same. Simply measure the distance from the center of one faucet handle to the other, or better yet, from one inlet to the other underneath, and compare that to the specifications of the new faucet you are looking at. Generally the inlets and handles line up with each other, and that faucet looks like the same generic faucet on my Palomino's shower.Once you've found your new faucet, it is just like changing the faucet on your bathroom sink at home. Turn off the water, disconnect the lines, remove the nuts from underneath that hold the faucet to the sink, pull the old faucet, and reverse the steps to install the new one.

My bathroom had faucet with spout, but I hate that cheap thing and it had a leak from the inside. I just purchased one of those things, but it was shipped with no shower hose. Will work on the conversion hopefully this weekend and will post pictures.

We have a faucet like yours on our outside shower. The one in our inside shower has a downward facing spout with a diverter valve to the shower hose that is a Lance part. The possible problem will be how much access you will have to the back of existing setup. It was difficult replacing our outside shower fixture, but doable. A call to Lance or a dealer will get you set up.

The Phoenix R4477 faucet linked is a direct replacement for your faucet. Standard 4" center. The issue with fit is selection of 4" faucets WITH diverter, is limited. But replacement is pretty easy install. Nice for an inexpensive faucet with shower diverter. I replaced ours last year with one- though I used the R4077, replacing the faucet with diverter for sink and installed separate R0477 for shower. Somewhere theres a thread of install but dont find it. The advantage, depending on how your shower head is held, would be a bit farther from sink? Most of the faucets with diverter have standard shallow height. Suppose though you might get the benefit of both, using either faucet or head in place.

I would not replace the Phoenix faucet with another Phoenix faucet, unless you are in a real hurry to take a shower. These are poorer quality than the lowest priced thing you can buy in a big box DYI store. If you look at yacht plumbing you can find suitable replacements that will work in a wet bath, and will be a coupe orders of magnitude better quality.

I agree that your faucet assembly appears to be the one for the outside shower. I've had three Lance TCs. All with wet baths and in all cases the faucet had a regular spigot, diverted and a shower unit.

I had a 2005 Lance 835 and my faucet did not look like that. It had a connection on the back for the shower with a diverter on it. Someone put the wrong one in.

That faucet is a 4 inch center, meaning that the pipes that extends thru the sink are 4 inches on center. The faucet you have there is just a shower faucet, someone installed the wrong faucet on there before you bought the camper

If the access is easy to get to the faucet from underneath you should be able to replace it your self
