Lets see, F250 4x4 has the twin I beam 4x4 front suspension (2003), notorious for cupping tires
Been there, done that.
So have I, why I posted it and why I have my '97 350 with it's solid front axle that Fords nicely calls a 'monobeam'. It's a monobeam allright. It's a tank.
My 250 was a tire eater with nothing in the box. Has to do with wheel geometry as it pertains to vertical movement and bushing wear. Poor design all around. It's physically impossible to vertically articulate wheel movement when the wheel / hub assembly is restrained by a leaf spring. Why Fords went to coils in the front.
With my 350 I have no tire issues at all. Kept the 250 less than 6 months and traded it.... and..
A Lance Squire is way too much camper for any 250, especially one with a short bed. I'm surprised the front wheels don't come off the ground entirely when hitting a bump. Cannot be any front end weight to amount to anything with the Squire hanging out the back, like a lever. A squire belongs on a 350, with duals and an 8 foot bed.
I'd be more concerned with tire failure / suspension failure than the front end. he's way over capacity for the rims and tires.
Just my view. I may be FOS but I don't think so.
