well sorry, but i thought for sure i said i have the squire LITE, not the squire. I have a short bed truck and a SHORT BED CAMPER. you're telling me i have a long bed camper in a short bed pickup? wrong. You're telling me a 3/4 ton super duty short bed cannot handle a 1,690 pound camper? the weight is too far back? Ok, I give up. Thanks for the smart people that responded, however it's difficult to tell the difference on a forum. the model is a 185s 8'6" extended cab.
p.s. this camper has no air conditioner. no microwave. nothing heavy up top. i generally travel with 1/2 tank of water if that. I am a single person and usually travel alone, so there is not much supplies in the camper. the food and water is low and to the front of the bed. only a few clothes up in the cabover. I do not carry a genny. I do remember that once I hauled my little lightweight trailer with 1 quad in it, never had a bounce (porpoise) perhaps it's as easy as always towing my trailer.
There are four different lance lite models but that is neither here nor there.
Anyway,my advice is go down to the local(PNW) Les Schwabs and tell them your problem and show them how your tires are wearing..They should be able to fix you right up and give there opinion on the porpoising.
