Regarding truck carrying capacity, that change a lot between the years and models.
My 2007 F350 has more leafs on rear suspension than my 1999 F450 did.
Than F350 was build for utility body, so likely had upgraded suspension.
My camper is Fleetwood, but I share concerns about slides. When I bought mine, it had lot of ethernabond tape on cracks.
Turned out the aluminium frame had broken weld right at the anchoring point and that took whole thing down for serious repairs.
