A new and improved front nose cap would not be a deal breaker for me. You still have the seams, marker light holes, and so far I have never sustained any flying damage to that area like birds or rocks. And with my luck if I bought a Lance Id probably end up getting the nose cap that he just got done beating with the baseball bat.
