We have a 2015 Keystone Summerland TT. While on a trip this summer I noticed uneven wear on the rear axle tires. Assumed it was a bent axle and should be covered under warranty. Took it to Camping World and they all the measurements and took pictures to send Keystone. Keystone denied any coverage stating the leaf springs were severely flattened and trailer had been overloaded at sometime. My trailer fully loaded with all gear except food and clothing is 1000 pounds under the GVWR. It has never been overloaded. Tried to explain this to warranty person at Keystone and fell on deaf ears. Wonder if anybody else has a similar situation. Possible bad leaf springs?

Take it to a commercial trailer shop. They are the ones fully qualified to properly determine what might be wrong and fix it for a reasonable price. CW is a seller, can sometimes fix house issues, but definitely is not qualified to diagnose running gear issues.

Future Keystone purchasers pay attention here. There is absolutely no way to prove you didn't overload the unit so it makes it pretty easy for them to deny the warranty. If their warranty is no good you have to wonder about the company.

Sure, there are many leaf springs that are junk. Sounds like they owe you an axle and all new springs. Settle for nothing less.

I'm not sure how much effort you want to expend here, but keep in mind that you can purchase replacement axles, springs, etc. If you go that route, keep in mind you can upgrade to a higher rated axle/spring/brake/wheel/tire setup..

But what I believe isn't important, as I am not the one deciding if it's a warranty item or not.I and others believe that most TTs leave the factory under axled. They subtract the TW from the wieght of the TT and put in axles just barely able to support what is left. It doesn't take much to momentarily over load such axles/springs. Once is all it takes. Hit a bump or pothole wrong and it can do it..Regardless, you can probably waste time and aggravation trying to get them to honor the warranty, or just buy upgraded stuff and fix it yourself. The parts are really affordable, and the job isn't all that hard... Do it, and you will end up with a better TT than you started with.If you manage to win the argument with them... You will get replacements exactly like what already failed you once.It's your choice on how to proceed.

Take it to a commercial trailer shop. They are the ones fully qualified to properly determine what might be wrong and fix it for a reasonable price. CW is a seller, can sometimes fix house issues, but definitely is not qualified to diagnose running gear issues.

Look at the axle/spring ratings on the axle and make sure they installed the proper axles when they built the unit. Future Keystone purchasers pay attention here. There is absolutely no way to prove you didn't overload the unit so it makes it pretty easy for them to deny the warranty. If their warranty is no good you have to wonder about the company.

Do you need to contact Lippert or Dexter? Keystone doesn't make the axle and suspension assemblies.

Anything else than doing this will be a waste of your time. There is no promise that even a new axle will be straight. A couple hundred bucks and they will correct your problems. RV dealers are not equipped to align suspensions nor do they have anyone with more than a piece of string or a tape measure to do this....

The ONLY thing to do at this point is take it to a good frame & axle shop with experience in travel trailers. Get a full inspection done and a report made including photos. Then send it to Keystone and the dealer.

Have been through something similar in the past and initially got the party line "it's within spec." response. Knew darn well something serious was wrong. Then went to a gov't certified frame & axle shop and got a resolution.

You might try and see if there is a better person up the food chain at Keystone to send a report to. If you have an RV show coming up, see if you can find a factory rep. to talk to and find a contact at the factory.

Don't take no for an answer. Good luck.

Edit: If you bought it from Camping World, I wouldn't count on much help. You might also call the axle manufacturer, whoever your axle label says. Maybe even Lippert, but not without some good evidence first. Going to a scale and getting a weight ticket might help too.

I did get a weight ticket and included to Keystone. Tongue weight 900 lbs and axle weight 5720. Axles a supposed to rated 3500 lbs each.Well under weight rating. GVWR is supposed to be 7600 lbs. The axles are AL-KO which is now owned by Dexter. Trying to email warranty contact and getting no reply. Will visit a frame shop today and will call Dexter.

Call Brooks Shepard, the Alko contact guy, at 574-322-6149 or main office at 574-294-6651. He's hard to get hold of at the moment because his wife was having a baby last week. I couldn't get him on his cell no. last week either. You *might* just have the best luck talking to him. Very helpful and knowledgeable.

Your weights are definitely well under the axle and GVWR ratings. TW is at 13.5% which is good. Nothing unusual looking.
