I lucked out and had 2 porch lights, the 2nd one being right at the rear of the awning. I was able to use this as my 12V source and there was room inside the lenses cover to mount the control box in there too. No just turn on the porch lights and use the remote for the LED strip.
I had thought about that, but my porch light is in the center of the trailer, so wiring it would've meant more wire outside the trailer Than I wanted.
