I have some friends that just purchased a brand new small toy hauler for their two road bikes. They picked it up on Thursday am. and were camping with us on Friday by 5:00. (gotta love that!) But we were talking about their dealer walk thru and they were told by the dealer "Just leave the cap off and keep the grey tank valve open always or it will fill up before you are ready to leave your campground". I asked them about it at different times and they both said the dealer said the same thing! The group we were with assured them that is NOT HOW IT WORKS and set them straight with tips on how to make it last! I have been at the dealership they used and was not impressed then and even less so now.
