I think you are confusing issues. I can lift my fiver off the ground with the leveling system. But I don't think that makes the fiver more stable.
Lifting makes the rig level not stable. A rig with tires on the ground is certainly more stable.
Imagine if a hurricane force wind came through would the rig be more stable on or off the ground? I'm not suggesting anyone camp in a hurricane but it seems obvious on the ground is way more stable.
I've never heard of a vehicle falling off its wheels. But I have heard of vehicles falling off of jack stands or stands collapsing.
As mentioned you can use additional jack stands and or BAL stabilizers to create stability by taking the bounce/deflection out of the tires and suspension.
Raising the fiver off the ground will not increase stability. But will make the rig inherently more unstable.

We had our trailer at seasonal site for one year. This time we plan to keep trailer at a seasonal site for two years. Campground manager suggested we lift the trailer up on "blocks" to keep the wheels 3 inches off the ground for two reasons.

A/ Prevent pancake tires and preserve tires.
B/ Stabilize the trailer more solid than with just stabilizer jacks.

I am inclined to ignore the suggestion but is his suggestion sound?

Using the aluminum stabilizers to lift the Rv off the ground was not my intent.

I am under the impression that the OP wish to lift the RV off the ground because he wanted better stability, the aluminum stabilizers can help with that if used under the wheels (springs)

OP stated, "Would like to have the ability to lift our TT off the ground". Adding another set of stabilizers will still not allow you to lift the TT off the ground because of the weight limits of the 4 that you already have.

If you just want to stabilize the trailer all you need is "Camco 44560 Olympian RV Aluminum Stack Jack" (4pk for $50, each stabilizer rated for 6000lb)

The trick is to place one stabilizer beside on each wheel, that will take the load of the springs and support the frame.

Whenever I have to lift mine off the ground its hitched to the truck with the parking brake engaged as well. I lift it on the shackle or whatever its called at the tires suspension

When i first got my TT i would crank the stabilizers lifting the tires nearly off the ground. It didnt take long for me to figure out that it was a bad idea due to the stabilizer/scissor jack bending when I was on a slight incline and rendered my chocks useless.

To each their own though, im sure if you are on perfectly level ground it wouldnt cause any harm
