I think as long as you get a 2014 or older model, you will have Aluminum roof. Some early production 2015's might also have AL roofs during the transition over to the "rubber" roof design.
We love our 2013 Livin Lite 10.0. So far not one single problem with interior doors or latches or anything. Is holding up extremely well.
We did have one small pin-sized hole in the Al roof where something from under it was protruding up and caused the hole to form. A little Eternabond tape was all it took to fix.
Our holding tanks are very, very small, 7 gal. each; the 28 gal fresh water is OK with me. I might be switching them out for larger ones soon.
I will also be using the "generator" compartment to house extra batteries for longer dry-camping capabilities.
I do recommend Livin Lites. All the rot stories from other brands make me cringe.
