- jimh406Explorer IIIExcept the price of aluminum is about where it was in 2014. The price has been volatile a while. https://markets.businessinsider.com/commodities/aluminum-price
Also Ford and GM don't seem to be moving away from using aluminum. The opposite is the case. - sonuvabugExplorer

Oh I don't know about that ... adding a 25% tariff on imported aluminum that then has to be added to the manufacturer's cost will definitely have an effect on the retail price. - JTLanceExplorerSeems odd to say its aluminum costs that are driving them out of business. I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess its simply upper management that just didn't feel they were worth making.

Only took Thor 2 years and 4 months... - lap527ExplorerWe also have a 2013 camplite 10.0 TC and hate to see that they have closed the doors. It had been rumored for awhile. At least we have a quality unit. Sad but guess that is a good way to get rid of the competition.
- KavoomExplorerToo bad. It fit a niche.
- Frank_MehaffeyExplorerI am sorry to hear that. We have a 2013 livin lite 10' TC and have really enjoyed it. Because it was an early model, we have the aluminum roof (thankfully) and even though it is a spartan unit, it is well designed and made. I read about the changes in the roof, and interior construction when they were bought out, and I think that Thor missed the mark understanding the nitch that the original company was aiming for. Well built campers without a lot of frills, but virtually impossible to rot, with proper maintenance. I hope they sell the division to someone who can start again with the product.
- rexlionExplorerNot just tc's but all Linin Lite products are out of production for now.
I was disappointed to see the changes they made when Thor bought it. Who knows where they will go from here.
