My LLY overheated (message center saying coolant is hot) in Canada but no loss of coolant and happened at a summit. Air temp was 95. Installed killerbee kit four years ago and no problems since. Traveled over rockies west of Denver twice and thru the Mojave desert with air temp at 104 with no problem. Last trip over rockies west of Denver was on a labor day and traffic was backed up for miles heading to Denver both up and down. Temperature guage goes up but stops way short of overheating. This is pulling 37' Montana with 04.5 2500 GMC. Not sure the kit did it but seems to have helped.
