Load leveler hitch issue

Question

I have a Husky round bar set up that I've used for 6 years.   On rare occasions a bar will pop off on a sharp turn.   Just returned from a 900 mile trip and one bar only popped off 4 times.   When I unhook from the trailer the bars seem to have a bit of slop in the main housing and I can wiggle them loose pretty easily, especially the one that came loose 4 times.   Do these things wear out?  I've never lubed them.  Ideas?

When I had a round bar system, I found the pins would wear allowing the bars to fall out.  Have you inspected the pins or replaced them.  Pretty easy to do.

If you had it that long it may be time to replace it. They can wear out and you should grease the pin end and the ball.
